Issuing travel documents for returning to the country
A travel document for Qatari nationals abroad is issued due to expiry or damage, as directed.
Beneficiaries: Citizens who are studying abroad, or those who are abroad for medical treatment or for residents outside the country.
The service of issuing pass tickets to return to the country
Pass tickets are issued to Qatari nationals abroad because they have lost their passports.
Beneficiaries: Qatari nationals abroad
The service of issuing pass tickets to newborns
Pass tickets are issues for Qatari newborns who are born abroad.
Beneficiaries: Qatari nationals children born abroad
The service of obtaining an official power of attorney
The mission of the State of Qatar shall issue a public or private agency.
Beneficiaries: Qatari nationals residing abroad permanently or temporarily.
Service Procedures:
The citizen is required to appear personally in front of the consular officer.
Print Agency data on the mission's hard-copy.
Terms & Conditions:
1.Apply for a power of attorney to the head of the mission and to confirm the identity of the applicant and that he or she is in normal condition.
2.The elderly and disabled shall be excluded from attending and shall be visited by the Mission to complete the procedures.
3.Attach a copy of the valid passport or identity card which include the personal number.
The service of obtaining a certificate for those interested
A certificate (for those interested) is issued to Qatari nationals.
Beneficiaries: Qatari nationals abroad whether for study, treatment or otherwise.
Procedures of service: The Qatari citizen shall apply to the head of the mission or the diplomat responsible for the consular affairs to request the issuance of the required certificate along with the reasons for his residence outside the country.
Terms & Conditions:
1.photocopy of passport or ID showing personal number
2.To prove the residence of the citizen outside the country, whether for treatment or study

The service of transferring the dead
Transfer the bodies of the deceased to the State of Qatar
Beneficiaries: Qataris who have died outside the State of Qatar
Service Procedures:
1.The nearest Qatar mission is notified of the death of the Qatari citizen by his / her family.
2.The Mission (Medical Attaché), if any, or the consular affairs officer shall take the necessary measures to transfer the body to the State of Qatar.
3.Attach (original) passport and documents related to his/her death (certified) according to the system of each country.
4.Notify the Department of Consular Affairs of the arrival of the body in sufficient time for coordination with the airport
Terms & Conditions:
The mission shall send the deceased's documents by political mail and shall consist of:
- a copy of the passport.
- A copy of the death certificate.
- A copy of the death report (and any other documents)
Visas
Visa reissue service
Beneficiaries: All nationalities.
Service Description: A service that aims to grant some individuals who have previously issued electronic visas through the Directorate General of Nationality, Ports and Expatriates Affairs a visa to enter the country.
Terms & Conditions:
Some of those who have previously issued electronic visas through the General Directorate of Passports and Expatriates Affairs are required to review Qatari embassies and consulates abroad to stamp the visa on their passports.
- Submit a completed visa application form.
- Submit a passport that is valid for at least six months.
- Two personal pictures of the owner.
- Reissue of official visa (exempt).
Visa reissue fee: (3200) Algerian Dinars (subject to change)
Visiting visa service
Beneficiaries: All nationalities
Service Description: This service is intended to grant passengers of all nationalities with the exception of citizens of the GCC countries a visa to enter the country.
- Conditions and requirements:
Submit a completed visa application form. - Submit a passport that is valid for at least six months.
- Two personal photos of the owner.
Is granted to nationals of all countries except GCC nationals.
The validity of this visa is (three months) from the date of issue and the holder of this visa has to enter the country before the expiration of its validity.
The visa holder is allowed to stay in the country for one month from the date of entry.
This visa can be extended for a similar period up to a maximum of six months.
Visiting Visa Fees: (6400) Algerian Dinars per month (subject to change)
Official Visa Service
Those that will benefit from the service: Official delegations
Description of the service: The service aims to issue official visas to official delegations. There is an agreement that excuses the citizens of countries that hold diplomatic passports or passports for special missions (service).
Conditions and requirements:
- -Submit the application form to complete the data.
- -Presenting a valid passport that is valid for six months.
- -Two personal pictures of the owner of the transaction.
The validity of the visa (three months) commencing from the date it was issued, and the holder of the visa must enter the country before the end of its validity.
The holder of the visa may stay in the country for a period related to work.
Fees for the official visa: Free of charge.
Tourist Visa Service
Beneficiaries:
Tourists
Service Description:
A service intended to grant a tourist visa to those who desire to visit the State for tourism purposes in order to identify the historic, economic, urban, cultural and social landmarks of the State.
Conditions and requirements:
- An applicant shall provide a three-month band]k statement provided that the balance is not less than USD 1500. However, those who are financially capable and recognized by the Head of Mission or the Consular Officer are excluded from this requirement.
- It is preferable that the applicant has a five or four-star hotel reservation in the State of Qatar.
- The applicant must provide a completed visa application form.
- A passport, valid for not less than 6 months, shall be provided.

Two personal photos of the applicant.
The visa is valid for (three months) as of issuance date and the holder of visa shall enter the country before the expiry of visa.
The visa holder is allowed to stay in the State for one month from the date of first entry.
This visa cannot be extende.
The tourist visa fees: DZD (3200) (adjustable).
Ratifications
-Only the original documents may be ratified.
-The documents that are to be ratified must contain a stamp and signature from the approved by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
-Registration fees encompass all documents: 3,200 Algerian dinars (which can be changed).
Education documents
Those that will benefit from the service: Nationals, residents, and visitors.
Description of the service: The service aims to add legal status to education documents so that it can be used outside and inside the State of Qatar. It will consist of the following:
-The education certificates issued from the University of Qatar.
-Education certificates issued from Algerian universities.
General Rules
The document to be certified must contain a set of valid seals and signatures with approved seal and signature of the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The relevant government authorities in the State of Qatar are considered competent to certify the documents issued about them as well as the copies of those documents (photocopies).
Only the original papers may be certified, and furthermore the educational certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and scientific research must include the attached statement of points obtained during the educational stage. This includes a statement issued by the Directorate General of Education and Higher Training proving the validity of the certificate.
Personal Status documents
Those that will benefit from the service: Nationals and residents.
Description of the service: The service aims to add legal status to personal status documents, so that it can be used outside and inside the state of Qatar. It is made up of the following:
- Date of birth certificate and date of death certificate (for Qatari nationals and residents).
- Photos of passports and ID cards (for Qatari nationals and residents).
Newspaper free of precedents (for Qatari nationals).
- Newspaper free of precedents (for residents).
-All that is related to the parties.
General Controls
The document that is to be ratified must include a set of valid and expired seals and signatures signed and concluded with approved seals and signatures by the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Medical documents
Those that will benefit from the service: Nationals, residents, and visitors.
Description of the service: The aim is to add legal status to the medical documents so that it can be used outside and inside the state of Qatar, and it consists of the following:
-Medical certificates issued by hospitals and medical centers under the authority of the Supreme Council for Health.
Law documents
Those that will benefit from the service: Nationals and residents.
Description of the service: The service aims to add legal status to law documents in order to be used outside and inside the state of Qatar, and will consist of the following:
-Jurisdictions, judicial papers, and arbitration documents issued within the state of Qatar by the Supreme Judicial Council.
- Jurisdictions, judicial papers, and arbitration documents issued outside the state of Qatar by the relevant authorities in the specified country.
Other documents
Ratification fee as follows:
-Any document, contract, or certificate not mentioned above except death certificates and conversion to Islam (exempt).
Foreigners in the State of Qatar
-Services for obtaining certificates for good conduct.
-Request people residing in the state of Qatar to use it during personal matters.
Those that will benefit from the service: Past residents of the State of Qatar and those that left permanently.
Service procedures: The diplomatic and consular missions will send the order and its attachments to the Department of Consular Affairs, and in turn assign it to the competent authority (Department of Criminal Evidence at the Ministry of Interior). After receiving a reply, it will then be provided to the mission.
Conditions and Requirements
- A book must be presented in which the person in question must explain why they want a certificate, and outlining the period of time spent in the country.
- Attach the origin of the footprint form "to the fingers of the hands" issued by the security authorities after being ratified by the Algerian Foreign Ministry, and certified by the mission.
- A picture from the passport attached with "residency", and picture from the new passport if found.
- Number of photos (4) and size (45).
Service currency: 3,200 Algerian dinars (which can change).
Service for verifying the validity of education certificates
-The validity of the education certificates issued within the country must be verified "High school or University" of residents who graduated from Qatari schools and universities, in order to complete study or work in other countries.
-Those that will benefit from the service: Past residents of the state of Qatar, and those that permanently left it.
Service procedures: The overseas diplomatic and consular missions or the foreign missions residing in the state will send the request to the Department of Consular Affairs, and later on in turn assigning it to the Supreme Council of Education or the concerned university. After receiving a reply, it will be transferred to the mission.
Conditions and requirements: A copy of the certificate of education (high school or university).
Service Charge: Free of charge.
Issuing a certificate for those interested in the market license:
The overseas diplomatic and consular missions will receive the issues that concern residents that left the state of Qatar in a permanent picture, and that will be through coordination with the Department of Consular Affairs.
Those that will benefit from the service: Past residents of the state of Qatar, and those that left it in a permanent way.
Service Procedures: The diplomatic and consular missions will send the request to the Department of Consular Affairs, which in turn will assign it to the relevant authorities (the traffic department at the Ministry of Interior). After receiving a reply, it will be turned over to the mission.
Conditions and requirements: Sending a clear picture of the market license to the Department of Consular Affairs.
Service Charge: 3,200 Algerian dinars (which can be changed).
